Hey. I wondered about you yesterday. Did you find any good fabric? I'm trying to find the same fabric in the nursery pics I posted. It turns out they are place mats from Pier 1 and they're out everywhere. So now, I need to find some good fabric too - which will then be the inspiration for the rest of the room. Do you have any fabric stores you particularly like? I'm thinking something loud/vintage/graphic.

In other good news, I got a new dresser and glider on KSL today for $30! Pretty excited about that one. Thank you for the links!

Post pics of your fabric, room, the works. I'm always a sucker for decor stuff.

I'm back. Yes, I should be at church right now, but it was so bloody hot during sacrament meeting that I thought I was going to pass out/die. I decided I'm huge, pregnant and uncomfortable, I deserve to go lay down (and blog) for a bit.

You're genius. Thank you for the fabric store suggestions. It sounds right up my ally, and I live in Millcreek, so it's even better than it's close by. Score. I'm going there TOMORROW (right after my doc appt).

Love your color scheme. It sounds somewhat similar to the direction I'm going. My girl's room is already bright yellow (not my choice, it was like that when we bought the house). I'm not going to repaint it, but I thought I could get the same feel as the nursery I like so much by adding bright white (to tone down the yellow), w/ "buttery/burnt" orange and teal/turqoise. I'm jealous you're going with gray. I love that color. Here's a modern nursery from one of my fav design sites. I love the modern vibe.

some people have a love-hate relationship with this show, but mine is mostly love. can't wait for the season to start, even if it is the last.
